Just some thoughts and ideas going around in my head while trying to figure out where I am and where everyone else is going.

"Please Sir, can I have some more?"

So last night I was able to get my drink on. I had about five or six drinks but I only paid for one. It was like the old days when I could walk into some place and people would think that because I must have looked like new meat, I could have been had for the price of a beer or some cheap watered down mixed drink. It was too bad that many of them would just walk away a little lighter in their wallets with just memories of some insignificant polite conversation. That was my specialty. Like Marlene used to sing,

“Men cluster to me like moths around a flame.
And if their wings burn, I know I’m not to blame.”

Of course nowadays it's no longer as simple as it used to be. Like women my age who have to paint their faces and wear that wonder bra that will show their best assets, I will sometimes go for the tight leather jeans, no underwear and a strap cock ring for extra emphasis. There is nothing that says "hold your interest" more than a man with a nice print, and that's regardless of what or who you are into. Plus that was the look I was going for until the shit started to hurt and I had to pull off the ring in the bathroom. Why do I bring this up? I'm not sure really other than to say I needed a little attention and so I played the part. I played it to as far as I was comfortable with.

The CEO's from Detroit's Big 3 needed a little attention when they went to DC, cap in hand like Oliver Twist asking for a cup of gruel. (What is gruel?) They needed a few more billion to tide them over for the next two years because the economy had destroyed, or was about to detroy their business unlike what it must have done to Toyota and BMW.

However as everyone knows, they didn't get what they asked for but instead got the message of come back again later but with plan that states how they will become profitable. And next time try a little humilty by maybe not using the corporate jet which cost $20,000 for the day on average and trying slumming it in 1st Class instead when asking the tax payer to cover them. I've heard since that GM has already sold off 2 of it's 5 corporate jets in order to start saving money.

All I'm saying is that if I were advising the CEO's, I would tell them that they should pick the best and most fuel efficient car that they make and drive down to DC in order to make their point. Of course they would run the risk of breaking down in Pittsburg and perhaps alienting those that thought the Big 3 were salvagable. But they may also get the sympathy vote and get even more than they wanted. Who knows?

All I'm saying is that sometimes you just have to strap on whatever you need to strap on in order to show off your best attributes if you want to get what you want.

  1. I don't understand all the fuss surrounding these CEO's taking their corporate jets to DC to meet with the Congress and please spare me the whole "They're begging for money and they spent 20K on a flight" thing. Congress spends all kinds of money on frivolous bull shit while carring a budget deficit or paper surplus and no one says shit. The real issue I have is that the Big 3 are asking for 25 billion (on top of the 20 already in the pipes) and they are loosing on average 5 BILLION dollars a month (That's FIVE BILLION for those of you in Conshohocken, Pensylvania)! Who in their right mind would invest in that? Clearly in five months we're gonna have to infuse more money into the Big 3 and that's the issue that not only the Drive-by media should focus on, but also the American public at large!!! But, we'd rather squack about their 20K flight to DC. Hell, I'm sure it cost close to that much for the plane to sit in the hanger every month, but who's counting...lol

  4. Damnit - Actually I think most people don't really care how the execs travelled to DC. Even if they showed up being carried by 4 native African bearers, I don't think anyone would give a damn. But it sort of demonstrates the mindset that the companies have. They are losing money and they are unable to cut down on needless expences and they are asking for a handout without a promise that things will change. I'm sorry, you have to really have balls to do that kind of shit.

Blkseagoat - No, I thought about taking a picture but it was too late for me to set it up, do it right and get up in time to catch a morning flight. Whenever I take a picture of myself, I have to take at least 20 of them and even then I am hardly ever satisfied.

Whozhe - Play your cards right and who knows.

  5. I feel that regardless of how we feel the CEO's will probably get what they want because they have been in bed with the government for years anyway. So they won't be changing their habits anytime too soon.

  6. I posted a comment yesterday, but it obviously didn't go through!

About that "ring" - OUCH! How do you wear that thing!?! I think that I would be claustrophobic in leather pants. Do you use the baby-powder trick?

  7. D - You are probably right. It's probably just a game where everybody already knows what's going to happen, they just have to do the dance before they get there.

Runningmom - Hmm, how shall I put this? The strap just goes behind everything so that it can lift and push forward what you've got. As far as the baby powder thing goes, I think that's used for latex and rubber where people can really tell what your religion is.

  8. Okay, so glad that was not you with the fat, miniture, dick print. That was just not cute. Don't you think it is more sexy to dress nice and make a person guess at what's you got hiding and I mean that for both male and females. No? Is that just me? A camel two ain't cute on any woman and a, let's call it a "wizard's wand" isn't exactly a good look on a man in jean. Both are subject to a yeast infection. LOL

I agree with the bail out. How the hell you going to fly out in private jets to ask for a hand out? Get it right, people!

  9. If I were one of the CEO's, I'd take the Jet again instead of this absurd idea that they should DRIVE from Detroit to DC to please a bunch of Bureaucrats! I'd rather the CEO's spend the time working to fix their companies then stuck in traffic on I80...

Curious, you're right about the Big 3 needing to cut expenses. First expense to go, the UAW!

  10. One Man - I think it's so much more exciting to be able to dress anyway that you want according to how you feel and of course the location you find yourself in. I personally think I look best in a nicely tailored suit, but a greasy little leather bar after midnight would not be the place for me to wear it so I dress accordingly. Plus people are just sexual animals anyway so giving others an idea of what the merchandise may look like isn't neccassarily bad.

Damnit - Somehow, no matter how the Big 3 CEOs show up with hat in hand begging for coins, if they don't show how they are going to become profitable then they don't deserve any money. And may I remind you that in order for the UAW to have gotten whatever benefits they may have, they must have been given to them by the same management who find themselves unable to break their contracts.

  12. Union contracts are a funny thing@ Curious... Something I will be fighting against once I get my JD. (God willing) Enrolling Fall 2010 (Maybe spring...)!

  13. T - Yeah, these days that cup might come in handy, but I got to use what I have right now.

Damnit - You were born in the wrong time period. You should have been around when Ford was beating up union organizers back in the 30's and people were dying at their jobs because there were no safety regulations.
