Just some thoughts and ideas going around in my head while trying to figure out where I am and where everyone else is going.

So long, farewell, auf weidersehen good-bye
This is silly and in the grand scheme of things completely meaningless, but I just can't get enough of watching this video. I have nothing to say here other than it's like Christmas has come early to Baghdad.
Miss Mahogany - You know I hate to say this but in a weird way this is actually a complement to the "success" of the Bush war. If that had been Sadam up there when the boot was thrown, not only would the reporter have been dead by sundown, but his family also would have been dead and maybe half of his village's men. Progress of a sort.
Darius - Yes it is the funniest thing in a long time, and I ashamed to say I laugh each time I see the leader of the free world ducking and covering each time a shoe flies overhead.
RunningMom - Yep, the internet is a wonderful thing. Who would have thought that when they were developing it for the military and world conquest 40 years ago, it would end up as a tool for free porn and a way to embarrass the President over and over again?
Nite - This action definitely has symbolic undertones but I am still shocked that someone should come so close to attacking the President, and then I bust out laughing thinking about what happened.
Did you like or dislike what you just read? Go ahead, tell me why. All comments are welcome here, good or bad let's both open up and discuss our differences or our similarities.
I keep watching it too! Kudos for that journalist's gumption. LOL

ReplyDeleteThe hills are alive with the sound of muuuuuusic - or is that the sound of a size 10 shoe hitting GWB in the forehead?
ReplyDeleteEh, it's music either way... lol
Loved the video, thank God for Internet.
I think that this action has symbolic undertones that categorize Bush's enitre presedency. Kudos to the journalist!
